Austin automotive financial services firm makes leadership change

Bob Corbin is stepping down as president and CEO of Innovative Aftermarket Systems and will be replaced by Patrick Brown in the Austin-based finance company''s top job.

Corbin had led IAS since 2000 but now moves to the role of executive chairman, the company announced Monday. Brown started as president and CEO on Monday after spending eight years as a general manager at Austin-based NetSpend Corp., a subsidiary of Total System Services Inc. (NYSE: TSS) that makes prepaid debit cards.

IAS provides finance and insurance services to automotive dealerships. It is headquartered in Austin and has additional offices in Oklahoma City and Dublin, Ohio. It was founded in 1984 and employs more than 250 people nationwide, including about 180 in the Texas capital.
