- Jerry has participated in the automotive industry in various capacities since 1957, including auto financing, automobile sales and sales training, dealership management and consulting. Jerry became an independent entrepreneur in 1981 when he started Career Plan (a predecessor to IAS) with the strategy to design sales and aftermarket products for the auto industry. In 1989, he and son Garret Lacour created IAS with the vision to become a one-stop shop for innovative aftermarket automotive programs.
